Students in NoDa are assigned to the Charlotte Mecklenburg School District. This neighborhood is zoned for Highland Renaissance Academy, Martin Luther King Middle School, and Garinger High School. The roots of Garinger High date back to 1909, making it one of the oldest schools in Charlotte. Notable alumni from Garinger include NFL players, politicians, journalists, and singers. There are also several private and charter schools in the area, such as the Sugar Creek Charter School, Charlotte Choice Charter School, and Hickory Grove Christian School.
Parks And Recreation Near NoDa
There are 3 public parks in the NoDa neighborhood. Clemson Avenue Park is a place for the local children to play basketball and the Charles Avenue Park includes an entertaining hopscotch area.
